Aquafina MLB Pitch, Hit & Run

North Attleboro Softball hosts 3nd Annual Softball MLB Pitch, Hit and Run

On Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 12-2 pm, the North Attleboro Travel Softball Association (NATSA) will host the 3nd annual Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run (MLB PHR) for Girls Softball at Kelly Fields in North Attleboro, MA.  MLB PHR is an exciting baseball and softball skills competition that provides girls and boys, ages 7 to 14, the opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities.  While participation is free space is limited so please register below.

The MLB Pitch, Hit and Run consists of three individual events.  In the pitching competition, players pitch at a strike zone target for accuracy.  Players then hit for distance and accuracy.  In the run, the players will be timed from second base to home plate.  Individual scores will be added to determine the overall score and all-around winner for each age group.  Competitors compete in four age groups:  7/8,  9/10,  11/12,  13/14.  Age is determined as of July 17, 2012.

The All-Around Champion, Pitching, Hitting, and Running Champion of each age bracket will compete in the Sectional competition of the MLB Pitch, Hit, and Run.  Sectional Overall winners will be invited to Fenway Park in June to compete for a spot in the National Finals during MLB All-Star Week in Phoenix, AZ.
